Veterans Call is a pioneering fundraising app that supports organizations that give back to America’s veterans, active-duty service members and their families.
The Veterans Call app, launched in December 2015, utilizes patent pending technology allowing users to donate small amounts through their monthly cell phone bill, saving them from providing bank or credit card details. Subscribers are able to give as little as $5 a month, which is just $1.25 each week, and elect one of our trusted charities to support during the donation process. The app also enables users to stay connected with their chosen charity, to see how their donation is making a difference.
Veterans Call unites a national community of donors and enables every American to positively impact the lives of servicemembers and their families in just a few clicks.
Veterans Call was established to offer everyone a simple, effective, and affordable way to make a difference for veterans. The app makes it possible for those who care passionately about our veterans to contribute to the cause even if they do not have the time or means to get involved in other ways. We wanted to make sure everyone could be involved in effecting positive change happen for veterans, active-duty military and their families particularly young people who may care passionately about veterans but do not always have thfe time or means to get involved.

Veterans Call unleashes the power of micro donations. By efficiently combining small contributions from thousands of donors, Veterans Call is able to help our charity partners achieve real and lasting outcomes.
Veterans Call provides virtually anyone with a smartphone the ability to positively impact the lives of veterans, active-duty military and their families, and connects a national community of like-minded people.
Veterans Call is dedicated to being part of a long-term solution for charities that support veterans and active-duty military, and we are committed to minimizing fundraising costs. That’s why there are no joining fees; unlike other platforms, charities throughout the United States partner with Veterans Call for free.
100% of donations made through Veterans Call are passed on to our charity partners. At a later time, charities will be charged a small percentage of each donation to cover the costs of providing Veterans Call, including costs associated with the Mobile Giving Foundation and wireless carriers. This charge is significantly lower than those associated with traditional forms of fundraising, and we are committed to keeping it as low as possible.
If you work with a charity that gives back to veterans, active-duty military and their families and would like to learn more about the ways in which Veterans Call can assist your fundraising efforts, please contact us today.
To cover the costs for providing a sustainable service, we currently ask partner charities to provide 15% of the donation amount they receive through Veterans Call. For example, if a subscriber makes a monthly donations of $5, the charity will receive $5 and will pay us back $0.75, of which $0.35 goes to Mobile Giving Foundation to pay them and the wireless carriers for the service.
We are committed to keeping service costs to a minimum without sacrificing our subscriber services. We operate with low overheads and negotiate costs, and we believe these will be reduced over time. The more support Veterans Call receives, the better position we are in to lower overall costs. It is our priority to provide more than 90% of donated funds directly to charities within 12 months of operation, everywhere we operate.
Veterans Call works on a monthly payment cycle. However, due to the fact there are many carriers and other parties involved, final amounts are only confirmed and remitted to the selected charity after 90 days. At this point in time, under their terms and conditions, Mobile Giving Foundation grants 100% of the donation to the designated organization. Only after receiving 100% of the funds, charities pay Veterans Call a percentage of the total donations to cover administrative costs associated with running the mobile application.
The Veterans Call mobile platform is based on small, recurring monthly donations that do not put excessive pressure on an individual’s or family’s budget. The maximum monthly donation is $10; the minimum is $5. We do not seek substantial one-off donations.
Veterans Call is cultivating a global community of givers. The more subscribers to a cause, the greater the impact we can have on a particular issue or challenge.
Further, the Veterans Call platform provides transparency in the way funds are spent – currently one of the key concerns of donors in general. Through our news items and push notifications we also enable donors to see how their donation is making a difference. And we make it easy for you to transfer your donation to a different cause in just a few simple steps.
Setting up a recurring donation often requires time and paperwork, as well as bank account or credit card details. If any of these details change you need to go through the process again. Additionally, unless the charity is well known it is hard to see where your money is going and how your donation is making a difference.
Donating to a specific cause or organization can be done using Veterans Call in just a few simple steps on your mobile phone, with no contract and no need for bank or credit card details. You will be able to follow your charity through the Veterans Call app, website and social media, and we can send you updates when your cause has benefited from funding.
With Veterans Call, you are part of a national, like-minded community of donors that have banded together to effect positive change for our nation’s heroes.
