Ensuring Support and Resources for Our Wounded Veterans

More than one million American servicemembers were wounded or disabled during the course of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ensuring that they have the support and resources they need after returning home is critical to our efforts at Veterans Call, which is why we have teamed with several organizations that provide for injured vets—including the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, established in 2000, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing for the physical and psychological needs of our injured veterans. Thanks to individual contributions from hundreds of thousands of donors, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund has provided upwards of $200 million to develop, administer, and support critical services for America’s wounded veterans.

Their Intrepid Spirit center at Fort Bragg is just one example. The center, one of nine that are planned, will provide the resources, research, and treatment needed for diagnosing and addressing traumatic brain injury (TBI) and associate psychological conditions. These centers offer crucial care and bring it closer to where America’s vets live and work. Already the Intrepid Spirit centers are demonstrating their potential for success, offering hope for military members and athletes alike who suffer from TBI.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is just one of the organizations that you can support through the Veterans Call app.

They answered our nation’s call, now it’s never been easier to answer theirs. With Veterans Call, there’s now a simple way to donate and support veterans, the military and their families. Download and donate to start making a difference today.
