Help Our Homeless Veterans
Thanks to the charities that your donations support, progress has been made in smoothing the transition for America’s veterans as they return home. Yet for various reasons, many of our men and women in uniform find themselves without a place to call home when they return from war.
Homelessness among American veterans, particularly those returning from service in Iraq and Afghanistan, is a growing concern. Whether immediately or several years after their tour has ended, too many of our armed forces struggle to find and keep a home for themselves. And this problem is affecting both male and female veterans.
The New England Center and Home for Veterans provides educational, clinical, employment, and housing resources in an effort to end the homelessness epidemic for America’s troops. They provide numerous services, including emergency, transitional, and permanent housing to ensure that veterans have the shelter and comfort they so rightly deserve.
As servicemembers return from their tours of duty, help us ensure that they have a place to call home.
